# U Mobile 5G Broadband Promotion 2026: Fiber-Like Speeds Without the Wires

As fiber broadband providers battle for traditional home internet dominance, wireless 5G home broadband has quieted the noise by offering exactly what modern households want: massive data, high speeds, and zero setup hassle.

U Mobile’s **U Home 5G** lineup leads the charge in 2026. By utilizing Malaysia’s expanding national 5G infrastructure, U Mobile provides high-speed home internet that bypasses the need for drilling, technician appointments, or messy cabling. Here is the complete look at the current U Mobile 5G Broadband promotions.

## The Core Promotion: U Home 5G at RM68/Month

The standard cost for the U Home 5G plan sits at RM78/month. However, under the current 2026 promotional window, new subscribers lock in a lifetime **RM10 monthly bill rebate**, bringing the price down to just **RM68/month**.

### Plan Details at a Glance

* **Monthly Fee:** RM68/month (Promotional Rate)
* **Data Quota:** Truly Unlimited Data (5G & 4G coverage auto-switching)
* **Speed:** Uncapped 5G speeds (reaching up to 1Gbps depending on location/device capability)
* **Hotspot Sharing:** Completely unrestricted sharing across all smart TVs, consoles, and laptops

## Two Ways to Subscribe: No-Contract vs. Free Router Bundle

U Mobile has split its promotion into two pathways depending on whether you already own hardware or need a brand-new home setup:

### 1. The SIM-Only Option (No Contract)

* **The Deal:** If you already own a 5G-compatible portable router or modem, you can subscribe to the U Home 5G SIM-only plan for **RM68/month**.
* **The Advantage:** Because you provide the hardware, there is **zero contract commitment**. You can pause or terminate the plan at any time without triggering early termination fees.

### 2. The Free Wi-Fi 6 Router Bundle (24-Month Contract)

* **The Deal:** For households that need a complete home network setup, U Mobile bundles the RM68/month SIM with a **Free Game-Grade Wi-Fi 6 5G Router** (valued at an RRP of RM699–RM799).
* **The Commitment:** Choosing the free hardware ties the subscription to a **24-month contract**.

## Device Add-ons: Samsung 4K AI Entertainment Packs

For families looking to upgrade their living room layout alongside their internet, U Mobile leverages the U Home 5G promotion to offer heavily subsidized smart devices:

* **Samsung Crystal UHD 4K TV:** Bundled from an extra **RM130/month**.
* **Samsung Neo QLED 75-inch AI TV:** Tailored for heavy entertainment and console gaming, bundled from **RM258/month** (down from a standard retail value of RM8,999).

## Why Choose 5G Wireless Over Fiber Broadband?

While traditional fiber lines are incredibly stable, U Mobile’s 5G broadband provides distinct functional advantages for modern renters and younger households:

1. **Instant Setup:** Zero waiting.
Skip scheduling a technician visit. Once your U Home 5G kit arrives, you simply insert the SIM card, plug the router into any wall outlet, and your home network is live in under 5 minutes.

2. **100% Portability:** Ideal for renters.
If you move to a new apartment or house within your contract window, you don’t need to request a relocation transfer or pay moving fees. You literally pack the router in a box, plug it into your new wall socket, and continue browsing.

3. **Verify Your Network Area:** Pre-requisite step.
Before finalizing your order online, use the U Mobile coverage map tool to ensure your specific neighborhood block sits safely inside the high-speed 5G zone to guarantee uncapped, optimal bandwidth.
